Terms of use
Version 2026-08-06. Plain language, because you should actually be able to read this. This page is the summary; the three agreements below carry the detail. We'll email everyone before any version replaces this one.
What Mamareel is
Mamareel is operated by Moog LLC, a Washington limited liability company. It is a self-serve platform. Baby brands post briefs, creators browse those briefs and apply to the ones they want, and the brand decides who to work with. We are not an agent, manager or representative of any creator. We don't negotiate on anyone's behalf, we don't set anyone's rate, and we never require a creator to accept a project.
Creators
You must be 18 or older and based in the US. You work as an independent contractor, not an employee of Mamareel or of any brand: you choose your own hours, your own filming method and your own equipment, and you're free to work on any other platform. You're responsible for your own taxes. Everything you say about a product must reflect your real experience with it.
Children on camera
No brief may require a child to appear or perform. Showing your child is always optional and always your decision. If your child does appear, you confirm you're the parent or legal guardian, that you're authorised to give consent, and that you agree to the footage being used for the uses listed in that brief. Please don't share your child's full name, date of birth, address, school or health details anywhere on the platform; an approximate age is all a brand needs.
Content and usage rights
Every brief states the usage rights the brand is buying, for example three months of organic use or twelve months of paid ads. The brand gets exactly those rights for the videos it accepts and pays for, and nothing more. Rights outside what the brief states have to be agreed separately, in writing, between the brand and the creator. You keep ownership of everything else you film.
Advertising rules
If a video runs on a creator's own account, it must carry a clear disclosure such as #ad or "paid partnership". Nobody may make health claims that can't be proven, for example that a product cures colic, increases milk supply or makes sleep safer. Brands are responsible for the claims in their briefs, and we can remove a brief or a brand that breaks these rules.
Payment
The brand pays before filming starts. Once a brand selects a creator, it pays her full fee to Mamareel through our payment processor, Stripe, and we send that fee to her bank account when the brand accepts her video, or automatically on the seventh day if the brand has neither accepted it nor asked for changes in writing. The creator receives the full amount written in the brief; our service fee is charged to the brand on top of it and is never taken out of her fee. A brief that pays in product only carries a service fee to the brand as well. We do not run a wallet, a stored balance, platform credit or an escrow, and no user can send money to another user: money comes in for one project and goes out for that project. Any figure you see on our marketing pages is a typical range across briefs, not a promise from us.
Accounts and conduct
Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and don't post anything unlawful, hateful, sexual or misleading. Brands must be a real business and be authorised to act for it. We can suspend or remove any account or brief that breaks these terms. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing us.

The boring but honest part
Mamareel is an early-stage platform provided as-is. We host the listings and the accounts. We don't guarantee that a creator gets picked, that a brand gets applicants, or the outcome of any project. Disputes about a specific project are between the brand and the creator, though we'll help where we can. These terms are governed by Washington law. Questions about anything here: hello@mamareel.com.
